Ketut Bagus P Putra

Ketut B. Putra has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Starting in 2013, they worked as an Application Engineer at GE, where they provided technical product knowledge and managed collaborative programs with the Ministry of Energy. In 2015, they became a Gas Turbine Assembly Specialist at GE, managing manufacturing system improvement projects and designing ergonomic tools. From 2016 to 2022, Ketut worked at the University of Michigan College of Engineering, first as a Graduate Student Research Assistant, where they developed design requirements and manufactured sensors for prosthetic limbs. Ketut then became a Lecturer, assisting the professor in course discussions and grading students. In 2020, they transitioned to a Research Fellow role, designing and developing biomedical devices and generating research documentation. Currently, Ketut is working as an IoT and Automation Researcher at Koidra, focusing on developing wireless sensor hardware and system architectures for environmental monitoring in the agricultural sector.

Ketut B. Putra has a strong educational background in engineering. Ketut began their academic journey at Institut Teknologi Bandung, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from 2008 to 2013.

After completing their undergraduate studies, Ketut enrolled at the University of Michigan College of Engineering. In 2014, they joined the institution to pursue a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Manufacturing Engineering, which they successfully completed in 2015.

Driven by a passion for further knowledge and expertise, Ketut continued their education at the University of Michigan College of Engineering. Ketut embarked on a Doctor of Engineering program in Manufacturing Engineering in 2016 and concluded their doctoral studies in 2020.

In 2018, they became a Certified Labview Associate Developer, achieving this recognition from National Instruments. Furthermore, in 2022, Ketut demonstrated their expertise as a Qualified Manufacturer Technical Representative in UL 508A through UL Solutions.
