Chanh Nguyen

Chanh Nguyen has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Chanh started their career as a Junior Designer at carbonhouse, inc. in 2007, followed by a role as a Web Designer at Silverpoint, Inc. from 2008 to 2010. Chanh then worked as a Product Designer at Leadformance from 2010 to 2015. After that, Chanh joined Objective Inc as a Front-end Developer and worked there from 2015 to 2021. During this time, they gained experience and expertise in front-end development.

In 2021, Chanh joined Weedmaps as a Software Engineer. In this role, they collaborated with project managers, developers, and designers to decompose features, define requirements, and identify potential issues. Chanh developed efficient and well-organized code using industry best practices and utilized tools such as Next.js, styled-components, Storybook, and TypeScript. Chanh was responsible for writing and maintaining unit and end-to-end tests to detect and prevent bugs. Additionally, they created intuitive dashboards for dispensary owners, enabling them to optimize sales and improve their business. Chanh utilized tools like Heap and Salesforce to develop features that improved client payment efficiency and contributed to team revenue growth.

Chanh's most recent work experience is as a Senior Software Engineer at YouAi, starting in April 2023 and ending in July 2023.

Chanh Nguyen attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte from 2003 to 2007. During this time, Chanh pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree with a focus on Graphic Design.
