Hannington Omwanza

Hannington Omwanza is the current COO at Kolanut Capital. Prior to this, they were with the Go Make Impact Foundation, where they helped design experimental protocols for projects, supported qualitative and quantitative field research activities, analyzed pilot results using R-programming and STATA analytics tools, and made formal presentations to communicate results to various management levels. Hannington also spent time at the Princeton University Keller Center as part of the elab ‘19 cohort. There, they attended workshops on startup development, conducted market research, generated a business plan and reached out to potential investors to fundraise for Kolanut Capital, LLC. Additionally, they managed and oversaw the subsidiary registration in Kenya. Hannington’s experience in both research and business make him uniquely suited to their current role as COO at Kolanut Capital.

Hannington Omwanza received a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Princeton University. Hannington also received a High School diploma from Deerfield Academy. Hannington is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from Starehe Boys Centre Technical Institute. Lastly, they also have a High School diploma from Starehe Boys Centre and School.
