Steven Turnbull

Steven Turnbull has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Steven started their career at Sainsbury's as a Fresh Foods Department Manager, responsible for various aspects of the department's operations. Steven then worked as a Holiday Representative for Thomson Holidays, where they handled customer service, organized excursions, and resolved various issues for vacationers.

After that, Steven joined ODEON & UCI Cinemas as a Regional Sales Manager, leading a team and focusing on identifying new business opportunities and achieving sales targets. Steven later worked at IDS Publishing Ltd as a Business Development Manager, where they improved sales processes, developed relationships with new clients, and maximized advertising revenue.

Steven then transitioned to the role of Digital Marketing Manager at Green Bike Store Ltd, where they successfully increased revenue and reach by developing an e-commerce website. Steven later joined Concentrix as an Application Support Group Manager, providing technical support to customers and ensuring continuous service.

Moving on, Steven worked at First Derivatives as both an Application Support Analyst and a Software Test Lead. In the latter role, they led the software test team, executed test cases, and collaborated with developers in an Agile environment.

Prior to their current role, Steven served as the Senior QA Lead at STATSports, leading the software QA team and ensuring quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Currently, Steven is a Senior QA Engineer at komoot, an adventure-planning app with millions of users worldwide. Their role involves ensuring the app's quality and collaborating with the outdoor community to inspire great adventures.

Throughout their career, Steven has consistently demonstrated their ability to lead teams, prioritize quality, and drive growth in various industries.

Steven Turnbull obtained a Foundation Degree in Science in Computing from Ulster University, where they studied from 2012 to 2015. Prior to that, they completed their A Level in Leisure & Tourism and Sports Science from Chippenham College, from 1996 to 1998.
