Algooth Putranto

Algooth Putranto has extensive work experience in the field of academics and media. Algooth is currently a Lecturer at Sahid Graduate School, a role they have held since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Columnist at Kompas.com from November 2016. Algooth also has experience as a University Lecturer at Universitas Bakrie from August 2013, and as a Communication, Social, and Politics Media Analyst in the Private and Public Sector since 2012. Algooth Putranto served as a Senior Editor at LokadataID from March 2020 to March 2021. Algooth has also worked as a Lecturer at Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia from August 2017 to January 2020, and briefly at Universitas Darma Persada in 2016. Additionally, they have experience as a Lecturer at the University of Indonesia in 2015. Algooth served as a Content Analyst at the Central Indonesian Broadcasting Commission from 2013 to 2016 and as an Editor at Bloomberg Businessweek Indonesia from March 2015 to October 2015.

Algooth Putranto pursued a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Cultural and Conflict Communications at Sahid Jakarta University from 2018 to 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Political Communication from Universitas Paramadina, which they completed between 2009 and 2011.
