Carlos Delgado

Carlos Delgado has a long and varied work experience. Carlos began in 1999 as a CCAI Cisco Academy instructor for Cisco. In 2004, they worked as a Consultant Auditor for the Systems and Technologic Development Areas for WWB Colombia. In 2005, they worked as a Senior External Auditor for Icontec International. In 2007, they worked as a Chief of IT Department, Information Security Lead, Internal Auditor for UMNG, as well as a consultant adviser project, writing, design, validation, documentation for the implementation of the security of information management system and for the recovery of IT disasters, based on ISO 27001 normative for FONADE National Financial Fund For Development Projects. In 2018, they worked as an Audit and Attestation for ControlCase. Since 2019, they have been working as CTO and Senior Auditor, Audit and Attestation Services for Kompleye. Carlos also has 10 years of experience in Networking, Linux, Cybersecurity from Military University Nueva Granada, Bogota Colombia, and 10 years of experience in Cybersecurity, Information Security Fundamentals, Threat and Vulnerability Analysis, Risk Management, ISO 27000 Implementation, Network Services from ESCOM Bogota Colombia. Additionally, they have experience as a teacher and IT instructor from IEC-UEI College, Lab Assistant, Instructor, California, and has given several conferences or presentations.

Carlos Delgado has a long and varied educational history. Carlos earned their System Engineer degree from Universidad Autonoma de Bucaramanga in 1999, followed by a Maestria en Software Libre from UNAB UOC in 2012. Carlos has also completed a number of courses and certifications, including a Google IT Support Professional Certificate Specialization from Coursera in 2018, a CCNA Cyber Ops from Cisco Networking Academy in 2018, and an Information Gathering from Backtrack Academy in 2018. Other courses and certifications include Cybersecurity and the X-Factor from Coursera - University System of Georgia in 2016, PENTESTING WITH MALTEGO from Backtrack Academy in 2016, and Internet History, Technology, and Security from Coursera - University of Michigan in 2016. Carlos also holds additional certifications from Cloud Security Alliance, ISACA, Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification Accreditation Body (CMMC AB), PECB University, and Cisco.
