Rune Niska

Rune Niska has work experience in various software engineering roles. In 2019, they worked as a Security Research Trainee at Ericsson, where they explored trusted execution environment technology and implemented security features. In 2020, they joined Tuxera as a Junior Software Engineer, focusing on software development and testing of an enterprise-grade file sharing server. From February to July 2022, Rune worked as a Master's Thesis Worker at Komu Homes, where they created a product management process framework to develop a digital product using user-centric software engineering practices and the Lean Startup methodology. Since August 2022, they have been serving as a Software Engineer at Komu Homes, utilizing their technical skills in software development.

Rune Niska completed a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology at Aalto University from 2016 to 2020. Following that, from 2017 to 2017, they attended Reserve Officer School at Reserviupseerikoulu - Reservofficersskolan. Afterward, Rune pursued a Master's degree in Software and Service Engineering at Aalto University from 2020 to 2022. In addition to their academic qualifications, they obtained a Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) certification from the Scrum Alliance in October 2021.
