Evie Barton

Evie Barton is a seasoned television news professional currently serving as the Senior TV News Anchor at KOMU 8 & Mid-Missouri CW since December 2022. Prior to this role, Evie worked at WSIL-TV from May 2009 to December 2022, starting as a paid intern and eventually advancing to AM News Anchor and Senior Reporter. Evie holds a Bachelor's degree in Radio and Television from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, and an Associate of Arts in General Studies/Social Work from John A. Logan College.
