Casey Placek

Casey Placek is a skilled metallurgist with extensive experience in quality control and product development. Currently serving as Lead Metallurgist at Kondex Corporation since May 2013, Casey oversees the metallurgical team, focusing on quality assurance, failure analyses, competitive studies, field testing, and research and development. Prior experience includes a role as Metallurgical Engineer at the same company and an internship as Process Metallurgist at AK Steel. Additionally, Casey completed an engineering internship with the US Army Corps of Engineers from 2009 to 2011. Casey earned a Bachelor of Science in Metallurgical Engineering from South Dakota Mines in 2013.
