Charly Molter

Charly Molter has a diverse work experience, starting with a current position as a Software Engineering Manager at Kong Inc. in January 2022. Before that, they worked as a Software Engineer at Kong Inc. from July 2021 to January 2022.

From June 2020 to July 2021, Charly worked as a Software Engineer at Koyeb. They had a break in their career from December 2019 to March 2020, when they were traveling in South America.

Charly's previous experience includes working at Apple as a Software Engineering Manager from October 2018 to December 2019. Before that, they were a Lead Software Engineer at Apple from April 2016 to October 2018, where they led a team through the transition from an in-house queueing system to providing Apache Kafka as a Service. Charly also worked as a Software Engineer at Apple from December 2013 to March 2016, primarily focusing on queueing and coordination infrastructure.

Before joining Apple, Charly briefly worked as an Analytics Engineer at Acunu in October and December 2013 and as a Software Engineering Intern in the MySQL optimizer team at Oracle from June to September 2013.

Charly started their career as a Freelance Developer at B+G & Partners SA from September 2012 to June 2013, working on a local community website. They also worked as a Bug Buster in the IT Help desk for students by students at Grenoble INP - Institut polytechnique de Grenoble from September 2011 to June 2012.

In 2011, Charly had two notable roles. They participated in the Google Summer of Code program at the Inclusive Design Institute, where they worked in JavaScript on an accessible video player project. They also worked as a Back-end Developer at eegoes LLC from June to September 2010, focusing on PHP/MySQL development and code optimization.

Charly Molter's education history begins in 2007 when they obtained a Baccalauréat in Scientific studies from Lycée Marc Chagall. They then pursued a DUT in Computer Science at Université de Reims Champagne-Ardenne from 2008 to 2010. From 2010 to 2013, Charly Molter attended Grenoble INP - UGA, where they obtained an Engineer's degree (Masters of Science) in Computer Science, specializing in Ensimag. In 2012-2013, they gained international experience as an exchange student at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), studying Computer Science.
