Jake Troutman

Jake Troutman has a diverse range of work experience in talent acquisition and recruitment. Jake is currently serving as the Director of Technical Recruiting at Kong Inc. since July 2022. Prior to that, Jake worked as the Director of Global Talent Sourcing at Roblox from December 2020 to July 2022.

Before joining Roblox, Jake held the position of Sr. Manager, Global Talent Sourcing at Pure Storage, where they played a crucial role in scaling the global sourcing engine and unifying teams. Jake grew the team from 6 to 34 and expanded the U.S. R&D Sourcing and Recruiting team from 10 to 21 members. Jake also built a new 11-person TA team to support the development center in Prague.

Jake's earlier experience includes managerial roles at Hortonworks, where they served as the Manager of Global Talent Acquisition from February 2015 to October 2018. Jake also worked as a Lead Recruiter at Hortonworks from March 2014 to February 2015.

Prior to their time at Hortonworks, Jake worked as a Lead Headhunter at Jivaro Professional Headhunters from March 2008 to January 2014. Jake started their career as a Loan Officer at Coeur d'Alene Mortgage from March 2005 to April 2007.
