Wenhan Shi

Wenhan Shi began their work experience in 2010 at Hitachi, where they served as a Senior Software Developer and were responsible for developing and implementing complex device drivers for a flash memory storage system. They also managed development progress and workflow charts. In 2017, they joined Red Hat as a Technical Support Engineer, providing support for Red Hat Gluster Storage and OpenShift Container Platform. They collaborated with global team members and managed technical documents. From 2018 to 2020, Wenhan worked at Canonical Ltd. as a Senior Technical Account Manager, supporting Ubuntu Cloud productions, particularly Openstack and Kubernetes. They maintained a good relationship with an enterprise customer, provided 24x7 support service, and dealt with troubleshooting for large-scale clusters. From 2020 to 2022, they worked at Rancher Labs as a Senior Technical Support Engineer, supporting Rancher-related CloudNative products. They were responsible for enterprise customers in Japan and APAC, and also organized online meetups for the Japan community. Currently, Wenhan is working at SUSE as a Senior Technical Support Engineer, where they are supporting Rancher-related CloudNative products and handling all enterprise customers in Japan and APAC.

Wenhan Shi has a strong educational background in the field of computer software technology. From 2004 to 2008, they attended Hokkaido University and obtained a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Computer Software Technology/Technician. Following that, they pursued further education and completed a Master's degree in Information Science at Hokkaido University from 2008 to 2010.

In addition to their formal education, Wenhan Shi has also obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. Wenhan received the Certified Kubernetes Administration (CKA) certification from CNCF (Cloud Native Computing Foundation) in February 2020. In September 2018, they obtained the OCM100 certification from Mirantis. Furthermore, they obtained the Certified Rancher Operator certification from Rancher Labs in May 2021, indicating their expertise in Rancher Operator skills.

More recently, Wenhan Shi has acquired several certifications related to Kong Inc. In March 2022, they received the Kong | KGAC-101 Certificate from Kong Inc. In May 2022, they acquired the Kong Mesh Demo Certification. In July 2022, they obtained the Kong Gateway Foundations certification from Kong Inc. These certifications demonstrate their proficiency in working with Kong products and technologies.
