Gordon Pullar, Jr. has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and organizations. Gordon is currently the Operating Group President at Koniag Government Services (KGS), where they oversee the operations management operating group. Gordon'sresponsibilities include managing programs such as facilities operations and maintenance, specialized legal services, and national security/access control services. Prior to this, from 2019 to 2021, Gordon developed business and led all operations for KGS' legal, occupational health, and administrative services portfolio of contracts.

Before joining KGS, Gordon served as the Director of Business Operations at Koniag, Inc. starting in 2010. In this role, they focused on subsidiary development, SBA compliance, annual operating plan production, operational analysis, and the acquisition and divestment of non-performing subsidiaries. In 2016, they transitioned to leading Kadiak, LLC, a subsidiary of Koniag.

Outside of their corporate roles, Gordon has been involved in various tribal and heritage organizations. Gordon was a Tribal Council Member at Tangirnaq Native Village from 2014 to the present. During their tenure, they served as Council President from May 2016 to May 2019, overseeing programs and services for over 400 enrolled tribal members. Gordon has also been a member of the Board of Directors at the Alutiiq Heritage Foundation (Alutiiq Museum) since 2014, providing leadership and governance for the preservation of Alutiiq heritage. Additionally, Gordon has been a Board of Directors Member at Leisnoi, Inc., an Alaska Native Village Corporation, and at the Koniag Education Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides scholarships and grants to Alutiiq students.

Before their corporate and tribal involvement, Gordon gained experience as the Head Coach of the FSU ACHA Division III club hockey team while attending graduate school at Florida State University. During their time as a coach, they led the team to its first Thrasher Cup victory.

Gordon Pullar, Jr. completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Florida State University, which they pursued from 2005 to 2007. Following this, they enrolled in the University of Alaska Fairbanks and obtained a Master of Arts degree in Rural Development between 2007 and 2010. In 2019, they obtained a certificate in Leading People and Investing to Build Sustainable Communities from Harvard Business School.
