Yuanzhong OU

Yuanzhong OU's work experience begins in 2015 at Johns Hopkins University, where they worked as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant in the field of Data Mining and Data Science. Their research project focused on finding the optimal estimation of the number of communities in high dimensional data.

In 2016, Yuanzhong OU joined Kora as a Data Scientist & Risk Associate and later became an Analytics Manager. At Kora, they were responsible for managing the loan portfolio and implementing risk management strategies. They also played a significant role in developing the company's proprietary risk engine and AI engine for virtual card programs. Yuanzhong OU led the development of company-level analytics infrastructure and enhanced data synergies across product lines.

In 2021, Yuanzhong OU was promoted to Director of Risk & Analytics and became a Co-founder of Kora. In this role, they continued to oversee risk management and analytics, including credit risk underwriting, fraud detection, user profiling, and model governance. They also spearheaded the enhancement of data warehousing, business intelligence platforms, and reporting systems.

In 2023, Yuanzhong OU was promoted to Head of Risk & Analytics at Kora, further solidifying their expertise in risk management and analytics. They continued to lead various projects and played a significant role in optimizing user engagement and performance of the risk engine.

Yuanzhong Ou completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mathematics and Economics from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology from 2010 to 2014. Following that, from 2013 to 2014, Yuanzhong was a Visiting Scholar at ETH Zürich, specializing in the field of Mathematics. Later, from 2014 to 2016, Yuanzhong pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Applied Mathematics and Statistics at The Johns Hopkins University.
