Steve Townsend

Steve Townsend is an accomplished commercial manager with extensive experience across various industries. Currently serving as Commercial Manager at Kordia since April 2022, Steve previously held the role of Senior Performance & Contracts Manager at Transpower New Zealand from July 2021 to April 2022. A considerable tenure at Air New Zealand from September 2011 to July 2021 included positions such as Commercial Manager, Customer Analytics Manager, Customer Strategy Manager, Senior Commercial Analyst, and Senior Business Analyst. Prior roles also encompass managerial and analytical positions at Calcom Group, Earls Kitchen + Bar, Electronic Arts, Smartwool, and Christchurch City Council. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Science and a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from the University of Otago, earned between 1999 and 2002.
