Eleanor Thai

Eleanor Thai has worked at a variety of companies since 2014. Eleanor began their career at Ono Hawaiian BBQ, Inc. as an Advanced Front Crew. Eleanor then moved on to the TRIO Program, where they were a Peer Mentor. In 2017, they worked at the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) Agricultural Research Service (ARS) as a Research Assistant and at DNA Subway as an Undergraduate Research Assistant. Eleanor also worked at the Center for Plant Cell Biology as a Research Assistant during the same year. In 2019, they worked at Soilcea as a Research Associate and in 2021, they moved to Active Motif where they were a Research Associate II - Epigenomics/Epitranscriptomics. Currently, they are employed at Korro Bio, Inc. as a Principal Associate Scientist.

Eleanor Thai completed their Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of California, Riverside in 2019. Prior to that, they attended Riverside City College from 2015-2017, studying Biochemistry. Eleanor also attended Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted from 2008-2011. Eleanor is currently enrolled in a Master of Science in Computer Science program at the Georgia Institute of Technology, which they began in 2023.
