Brent Rutland has over 25 years of work experience in the medical and pharmaceutical industry. Brent began their career in 1996 as a Medical Science Liaison at Sanofi Pasteur, where they worked for ten years. In 2006, Brent joined Baxter International Inc. as a Senior Medical Science Liaison, and they remained in that role for over a decade. In 2017, they transitioned to the La Jolla Pharmaceutical Company, initially as a Senior Director of Health Outcomes and later as a Senior Medical Science Liaison. Currently, Brent Rutland holds the position of Vice President of Medical Affairs at KORU Medical Systems, a role they began in October 2022.
Brent Rutland obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences from Texas A&M University, which they pursued from 1991 to 1996. Following this, they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on International Business at the University of Houston, C.T. Bauer College of Business, from 2002 to 2003. Later, they attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, earning a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Epidemiology from 2007 to 2009.
