Julie Shown Gustafson

Julie Shown Gustafson has over 20 years of experience in product development. Julie currently serves as the Head of Product Development for Kosas, a position they have held since 2021. Prior to this, they were the VP Product Development for EVER Beauty (Stella & Dot subsidiary) from 2017 to 2021. From 2013 to 2017, they were the Product Development Director for Bare Escentuals. From 2009 to 2013, they held the role of Director Product Development for Chantecaille and Director for Chantecaille Beauté. From 2008 to 2009, they were the Director, Global Product Development for The Estee Lauder Companies. From 2006 to 2008, they were the Director, Product Development and Operations for Cobalt Balloon, LLC. From 2006 to 2008, they were the Manager, Global Product Development for the Estee Lauder brand, specializing in the foundation and mascara categories. From 2004 to 2006, they were the Assistant Manager, Global Product Development for Origins. Finally, from 2000 to 2004, they held a variety of roles for The Estee Lauder Companies.

Julie Shown Gustafson attended Miami University from 1996 to 2000, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts and Science in English Journalism.
