Peter Ministrelli has extensive work experience in the field of process engineering. Peter began their career as a Co-op Engineer at ANR Pipeline Company, where they were involved in P&ID development and MAWP determinations for the fuel gas and compressor systems. Peter then worked as a Process Engineer at Petrofac LLC, where they were responsible for conceptual design, equipment sizing, and development of PFD/HMB/P&ID. Peter also conducted hazop, PHA, and design reviews, along with operator training and troubleshooting during startup and operations.
Following this, Ministrelli joined Sunoco Toledo Refinery as a Process Design Engineer, contributing to the design and development process. Currently, they are employed at KP Engineering, initially serving as a Senior Process Engineer, specializing in conceptual design through detailed design and startup. Peter worked on simulation/model development using software such as ProII, HYSYS, and ProTreat, and was responsible for equipment sizing, PFD/H&MB/P&ID development. Subsequently, they were promoted to Process Engineering Manager and, most recently, they hold the position of Principal Process Engineer.
Peter Ministrelli attended Livonia Franklin High School from 1986 to 1990. Peter then pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemical Engineering at Wayne State University from 1990 to 1997. In addition, they obtained the EIT - Texas certification from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers in July 1998.
