Ramzi Hodali started at KPFF in 1989. His award-winning engineering design and cost-effective leadership lead to consistently successful projects and excellence in building effective interdisciplinary teams. Ramzi has developed a thorough knowledge of standards and requirements while working on projects including medical, hospital, and research facilities; educational facilities from K through 12 to higher education; industrial, commercial, and residential developments; multiple local and state jurisdictions and regulatory agencies including the Port of Long Beach, the Port of Los Angeles, Los Angeles World Airports and other Southern California Airports. He thrives on delivering optimum, well-considered structural solutions that meet the unique technical and budget objectives and constraints of each project. A co-author on a number of technical papers including the stability of inelastic structures under dynamic loading, and project-related case studies including the implementation of the inelastic seismic fuse system at the Port of Long Beach Pier T Wharf structure, Ramzi takes great pride in mentorship, teaching and developing staff to become the structural leaders of tomorrow.
