Dr. Tanner Khandaker serves as the General Partner at KPG Capital & Co. Previously he served as the Managing Director and Head of Risk Management at Khandaker Partners Inc., a Contrarian Value Independent research practice, and as an independent advisor to various funds. Dr. Khandaker has over 15 years of Wall Street Investment Banking experience. He is a serial entrepreneur and cofounded YELLOW Inc, a Fin-tech venture of KPG, in 2018. Dr. Khandaker started consulting for various investment banks and financial firms shortly after leaving academic research at Harvard Medical School and affiliated Brigham & Women's and Massachusetts General Hospitals in 2002. From 1999 to 2001, Dr. Khandaker was an Adjunct Faculty at Fisher College, Boston. From 1997 to 1998, he served as a research fellow and had firsthand exposure to the blockbuster Statin Clinical Trials at Mount Sinai Hospital, N.Y. He also served as a Member of the Advisory Board of Apella Resources Inc., a clean energy resources company. He was the Director of Nutra Pharma Corporation from 2005 to 2007 and BioTech Medics Inc. from 2006 to 2007. Since the inception of Khandaker Partners as a Small-cap Specialist, Dr. Khandaker has researched and written on a few thousand small-cap publicly traded and late-stage private companies in various sectors. Dr. Khandaker was a practicing physician in Internal Medicine before he joined academia. Dr. Khandaker a National Board scholar and received his M.D. (Diploma in Medicine) with distinction from the distinguished Robert Mitford Medical College, Dhaka University, affiliated with Royal College of London in 1995. Dr. Khandaker is currently a visiting faculty at North South University (NSU) Business School. He is an entrepreneur at heart and as a captain of the medical school soccer team, he led his team to victory on numerous occasions.
