Azra Rishafy

Azra Rishafy is a tax incentives practice manager at KPMG Canada, having progressed from a senior consultant role since April 2022. Prior to joining KPMG, Azra worked as an independent consultant specializing in finance and innovation performance from November 2020 until March 2022, focusing on SR&ED and grant applications for a diverse client base. Azra's previous experience includes five years at Ayming, where a national lead role in technical claim building and client portfolio management was held, along with contributions to strategic analysis for maximizing government funding opportunities. Early career stages involved roles at Alma Consulting Group and Lloyd’s Pvt. Ltd, focusing on research and development, engineering tasks, and engaging with various engineering projects. Azra holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) with Honors in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nottingham and has additional qualifications in CAD and 3DS Max from OST CADD Centre in Sri Lanka.
