Kris Furbert

Kris Furbert is the owner of Bermuda Pie Company Ltd, a local restaurant specializing in traditional Bermudian savoury pies since October 2017. Prior to this, extensive experience in the insurance sector was gained through various roles, including staff accountant and insurance audit intern, as well as internships with Bermuda Foundation for Insurance Studies, KPMG Bermuda, and XL Re Latin America, where involvement in insurance audit and actuarial support was prominent. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from The European School of Economics, along with studies in Accounting at The Bermuda College and A levels in Physics, Biology, and Physical Education from Cranbrook School. Early career experience also includes roles at The Bank of N.T. Butterfield & Son Limited and the Bermuda Department of Corrections.
