Christian Rast

Christian Rast is the current Global Head of Technology & Knowledge at KPMG. Christian has previous experience as a Mitglied des Vorstands, Head of Advisory at KPMG Deutschland from October 2014 to September 2021. In this role, Christian was responsible for making KPMG the preferred advisor and trusted partner to support clients in their digital transformation journey and along their deal processes.

Prior to their role at KPMG, Christian was a co-founder and Managing Director at BrainNet Supply Management Consultants from January 1995 to December 2012. During their time at BrainNet, Christian developed the company into a leading purchasing and supply chain consulting firm in the German-speaking region.

Christian Rast has a Master of Business Administration (Dipl.-Kfm) from the University of Cologne.

They work with Ed Cannizzaro - Global Head of Quality, Risk & Regulatory, Melissa Hardaway - Global Chief Administrative Officer & Global Chief Financial Officer, and Anne Collins - Global General Counsel. Christian Rast reports to Bill Thomas, Chairman.
