Andrew Alvarez possesses extensive experience in audience insights, membership development, and digital fundraising. Currently serving as Senior Manager of Audience Insights & Ingenuity at KQED since June 2012, Andrew previously held the role of Digital Fundraising Specialist. Prior experience includes the position of Director of Membership and Donor Development at Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy, as well as Membership and Database Manager at Greenbelt Alliance. Andrew began a career in membership services at the San Jose Museum of Art as a Membership Associate. Andrew earned a Master’s degree in Museum Studies from the University of Leicester from 2000 to 2001.
