David Weir

David Weir is a seasoned journalist and editor with extensive experience in online news and editorial leadership. Currently serving as Senior Editor and Blogger for KQED since May 2013, David is also a member of the Editorial Board for The Nation since 1989. Previous roles include Technology Blogger for 7x7.com, Executive Director at the Center for Investigative Reporting, and Media Analyst at BNET. David has contributed to various platforms, including Smashwords and Predictify.com, where the role included leading editorial efforts. A graduate of the University of Michigan with a B.A. in Journalism, David has also dedicated time as a volunteer to assist communities affected by Hurricane Katrina.
