Ki Sung has extensive experience in journalism, currently serving as the Managing Editor for Digital News at KQED since September 2014, where responsibilities include overseeing digital news content, leading digital strategy, and initiating source tracking efforts. Prior roles include Interim News Director and Senior Editor and Podcast co-host at KQED, with a focus on the education vertical MindShift. Ki also worked as a Community Manager at the Tow-Knight Center for Entrepreneurial Journalism, driving initiatives for diversity and inclusion in news organizations. Previous experience includes positions at NPR Digital Services as a Digital News Specialist, freelance journalism, and various editorial roles. Ki holds a Master's degree in Journalism from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from UC San Diego.
