Rebecca Kao

Art Director at KQED

Rebecca Kao has a diverse work experience in various roles and positions. Starting in 2016, they worked as a Freelance Graphic Designer for JJT Technology and later took on the role of Summer High School ESL Mentor and RA at California College of the Arts. In 2017, they worked as a UI/UX/Graphic Designer for Smart Visitor System. Rebecca then became a UX Design Intern at BXB Digital, A Brambles Company in 2016. In 2018, they gained experience as a Graphic Design Intern and later as a Junior Graphic Designer at Meyer Sound. Rebecca also worked as a freelance Graphic Designer for KQED in the same year. Since 2019, Rebecca has been with KQED, initially working as a Senior Designer and currently holding the position of Art Director.

Rebecca Kao attended the California College of the Arts from 2015 to 2019, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Graphic Design.
