John Dickson

John Dickson serves as the Chief Procurement Officer at HJ Heinz since 2012. Prior to this role, John held the position of Head of Global Procurement at Diageo from 2006 to 2011, and has extensive experience at GlaxoSmithKline where John worked as VP of Production Procurement and VP of R&D Procurement from 1998 to 2006. Earlier in John’s career, roles included various procurement positions at SmithKline Beecham from 1993 to 1997, Head of Purchasing & Facilities at Bristol & West from 1992 to 1993, and Associate/Consultant at Coopers & Lybrand from 1991 to 1993. John Dickson earned a degree in Business Studies from Nottingham University Business School, completing studies between 1982 and 1986, and attended Boston Spa Comprehensive from 1970 to 1982.
