Rolf Jeckel is the Head of Business Unit, Nuclear Technology at Kraftanlagen Group. Rolf has previously worked as a Member of the Management Board (Vorstand) of the legal entity GE Power AG from September 2015 to September 2018. There, they supported the CEO by representing the operational side of the entity, together with the CFO and the HR Director. Rolf also worked as Managing Director of Steam Turbines, Region EMEA at Alstom Power AG from October 2001 to December 2015. There, they were responsible for Profit & Loss for the Region Europe, Middle East, Africa and America for the large steam turbines product line in the steam business of Alstom. Their key task was to deliver large steam turbines (above 100 MW up to 1100 MW) to the full satisfaction of our customers, which are either utilities or independent power producers. The project portfolio had an average volume 40 MEuro per project. Therefore, there was an organizational structure in place covering sales & tendering, engineering, project management, procurement and site management supported by functions. There was also a strong focus on structured continuous improvement and EHS. Rolf led a team of 250plus employees with execution centers in Cairo / EG, Jeddah / KSA, Elblag / PL, Richmond / US and Johannesburg / RSA, headquartered in Germany.
Rolf Jeckel has a Dr.-Ing from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in the field of Maschinenbau and a Dipl.-Ing. also from KIT in the same field. Rolf also attended an Advanced Management Seminar at INSEAD.
Rolf Jeckel reports to Stephen Stroll, CEO. They are on a team with Florian Sporl - Head of Business Unit, Energy, Jens Pokoiewski - Head of Business Unit, Energy, and Alfons Weber - COO.
