Biswarup Gooptu currently serves as the Corp Dev & External Comms professional at KRAFTON India since June 2023. Previously, Biswarup occupied the position of Public Policy Lead at Jupiter from September 2021 to March 2023, where leadership in public policy was effective for one of India's fastest-growing financial services companies. Prior to that, Biswarup was the Head of Government Partnerships and Public Policy at Mitron TV, contributing to the rapid growth of the short video-focused social media platform. At The Economic Times, Biswarup held multiple roles including Assistant Editor and Special Correspondent, focusing on private equity, venture capital, and emerging businesses across various sectors. Experience also includes serving as an Equities Correspondent at Thomson Reuters and reporting for The Telegraph - ABP Group. Educational credentials include an M.A. in Journalism from Cardiff University and a BSL in Law and Social Sciences from Symbiosis Law College.
