Jaime Lossada

Jaime Lossada is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in backend development and leadership roles in technology companies. Currently serving as a Senior Backend Engineer at Kraken Technologies since March 2023, Jaime has co-founded CivicTEC, where the role of Co-Founder and Chief Development Officer has been maintained since October 2016. Jaime also co-founded Monet, playing a pivotal role as Head of Engineering from February 2020 to March 2023. Previous positions include Team Lead - Back End Developer at Octopus Energy, Technical Lead at Elefante Technologies, and Co-founder and CTO at CatalistX. Early career experience includes freelance work and serving as Lead Application Developer at TecsIQ. Jaime holds a degree from Universidad del Norte, completed between 2004 and 2007, and possesses expertise in various programming languages including Django, Python, Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, PHP, and C#.
