Masako Furuya

Masako Furuya has extensive work experience in the field of software testing and automation. Masako currently works as a Test Automation Engineer at Kranus Health since October 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a QA Automation Engineer at felmo from May 2021 to September 2022. Masako also served as a Senior Software Engineer in Test at AMBOSS from September 2020 to April 2021.

Before joining AMBOSS, Masako held the position of Senior Test Automation Engineer at Billie from June 2019 to August 2020. Masako worked as a QA Analyst - Automation at LGM Financial Services from December 2017 to July 2018.

Masako started their career as a Software Developer at Equicare Health in June 2016 and transitioned into the role of a QA Analyst from January 2012 to June 2016 at the same company. Prior to that, they worked as a QA Lead - Automation at Vivonet from May 2010 to December 2011.

Masako'searly career involved working as a QA Analyst at Heart Force Medical Inc. from September 2008 to May 2010 and as a QA Analyst at Schneider Electric Canada from 2000 to 2008.

Masako Furuya has a diverse education history. Masako obtained a BSc. degree in Nutrition from Showa Women's University. Additionally, Masako pursued several certificates and diplomas in the field of computer systems and software development at the British Columbia Institute of Technology. Specifically, they earned an Associate Certificate in Applied Computer Information Systems in 2010, followed by an Associate Certificate in Web Application Software Development in 2011. Subsequently, they obtained a Certificate of Technology in Computer Systems in 2012. Lastly, they completed their education at the British Columbia Institute of Technology with a Diploma in Computer Systems in 2016.
