Gary Fitts

Gary Fitts is a retired civil engineer with extensive experience in the asphalt and paving industry. Currently serving as a Manager of Market Development at Kraton Polymers U.S. LLC. since December 2018, Gary focuses on promoting Highly Modified Asphalt (HiMA) across North America. In addition to this role, Gary has been self-employed as a civil engineer since April 2018, specializing in pavements and materials. Previously, Gary worked at Shell Bitumen from November 2008 to March 2018 as a Senior Applications Specialist, providing technical support for civil engineering applications. Gary's career includes a significant tenure as a Senior Regional Engineer at the Asphalt Institute from May 1991 to November 2008. Gary holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, completed between 1975 and 1982.
