Jeffery Gerry has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Jeffery currently works as an Engineer Pilot Operations at Kraus Hamdani Aerospace, Inc. since June 2022. Prior to that, they were a Senior Flight Test Engineer at Volansi from October 2020 to June 2022. Jeffery also has experience at Intel Corporation as a Drone Customer Service and Technical Engineer from March 2018 to July 2020.
Before their time at Intel, Jeffery was the Owner/Operator of Remote Aerial Solutions, LLC. from September 2012 to December 2018. Prior to their roles in the aerospace industry, Jeffery worked at EFI Inkjet Solutions from 2007 to 2014. Jeffery held various positions, including Senior Support Engineer R&D, IV&V Lead, Electrical Engineering Technician, Test Team Lead, and Test Technician. In these roles, they were responsible for new product development, customer support, troubleshooting, and testing of mechanical and software platforms.
Jeffery's early career includes a role as a Radio Engineer at Clear Channel Communications from September 2001 to August 2007, where they were responsible for technical maintenance, repair, and upgrades of radio stations. Jeffery also served in the United States Marine Corps as a Staff Sergeant and CH46E SRM Helicopter Crew Chief from 1991 to 2001, accumulating over 5200 flight hours and fulfilling various roles including Aerial Gunner/Observer and In-flight Mechanic/Troubleshooter.
Jeffery Gerry obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology, where they studied from 1992 to 1996. Before that, they completed their high school education at Windham High School from 1988 to 1991. Although there is no specific information regarding additional certifications or the year of obtaining them, Jeffery Gerry is certified to fly UAS commercially under the FAA Section 107.
