Derek Hsiang

Derek Hsiang is the founder of The Proptech Scout since September 2022, where connections are made between proptech founders, customers, and investors while providing strategic advice for achieving product-market fit. Hsiang also serves as an advisor at Krava, assisting in early-stage growth. Previously, Hsiang co-founded and partnered at YD Development, securing $68 million for multifamily rehab deals, and held positions at Gale International, focusing on acquisitions and proptech implementation, as well as founding S.O.S. Consulting, which offered technology implementation services to various industries. Hsiang's entrepreneurial experience includes founding a tennis retail business and working in financial planning at Northrop Grumman. Hsiang holds a BS in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering from Cornell University.
