Elias Abrahamsson

Elias Abrahamsson is the current Director of Sales & Partnerships at Kreditz. Prior to this, they were on parental leave from October 2018 to March 2019. Before that, they were the VD at Bigbank from October 2016 to September 2018.

From June 2010 to October 2016, Elias was the Managing Director at EF Education First. During their time there, they oversaw the successful expansion of the company into new markets and built a strong team of leaders.

Elias has also held positions at DnB NOR Asset Management as Head of Asian Trading from February 2008 to June 2010, and at ICAP as a Sales Associate for Electronic Trading Applications from January 2007 to December 2008.

In 2005, Elias began their career at Standard Chartered Bank as an Executive Trainee. Elias was quickly promoted to member of the business developing team responsible for new business ventures for SCB’s subsidiary PrimeCredit in Mainland China. Elias was instrumental in starting up the consumer finance business in the sub-prime segment.

Before their corporate career, Elias was a professional ice hockey player for the Boston Bruins from 1997 to 2002.

Elias Abrahamsson has a BBA in Business & Finance from The University of Hong Kong, and they also have a degree in Ekonomprogrammet from Stockholm University.
