Wonbin Hong

Wonbin Hong has a diverse and extensive work experience. Currently, they hold multiple positions at Pohang University of Science and Technology, including Associate Professor and Mueunjae Chair Professor. Prior to that, they served as an Assistant Professor at the same institution. In addition, they are the Co-Chief Executive Officer of mmWave 5G Antenna KREEMO. Wonbin Hong is also involved with IEEE, where they are an IEEE Fellow and an Associate Editor for IEEE Antennas and Propagation Magazine. Furthermore, they have served as an Associate Editor for IEEE Transaction on Antennas and Propagation. Wonbin Hong has a background in engineering, having previously worked at Samsung Electronics as a Principal Engineer and Senior Antenna/RF Engineer. Wonbin also has experience at the University of Michigan as a Graduate Student specializing in antenna design and development, and at Samsung Electro-Mechanics as a Summer Intern.

Wonbin Hong's education history begins in 2000 at Purdue University, where they completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. Following this, they attended the University of Michigan from 2004 to 2005, obtaining a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering. Wonbin then continued their studies at the University of Michigan from 2006 to 2009, completing a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering.
