Sergio Puente is an experienced meteorologist and photojournalist currently working at KRGV-TV since March 2016, where roles include English/Spanish Meteorologist and Photojournalist/Weather Producer. Prior experience includes serving as an Event Specialist at UTRGV University Recreation from September 2015 to July 2016, and as a Promotions Technician at Entravision Communications from March 2014 to March 2016. Additionally, Sergio managed facilities at UTPA Wellness & Recreation Sports from September 2011 to August 2015. Sergio holds a degree in Mass Communication with a focus on Broadcast Journalism from The University of Texas-Pan American (2011-2015) and furthered education at Mississippi State University from 2018 to 2021.
