Nancy Whitman has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Nancy started their career in 1981 at UMass Memorial Medical Center, where they worked as a Supervisor in Clinical Immunology until 2001. Nancy then transitioned to Athena Diagnostics as a Medical Technologist for three years. In 2005, Nancy began working at Polseno Chiropractic as a Certified Licensed Massage Therapist and Chiropractic Assistant, a role they held for nine years. During the same period, they also served as an Adjunct Faculty at Salter College MA from 2005 to 2017. In 2008, Nancy joined Escape Massage Centers as a Certified Licensed Massage Therapist and remained there until 2018. Nancy continued their career as a Licensed Massage Therapist at A & M Chiropractic and Wellness Center from 2015 to 2016. Nancy expanded their expertise in 2013 when they worked as a Faculty member at Quinsigamond Community College. In 2017, they took on the role of Adjunct Faculty at Mildred Elley, Massachusetts, where they are currently employed. Additionally, Nancy has been a Yoga Instructor and Certified Licensed Massage Therapist at Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health since 2022. Throughout their career, Nancy has gained extensive experience in healthcare, education, and wellness.
Nancy Whitman obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Medical Technology from Fitchburg State University during the period of 1972 to 1976. In 2005, they obtained a Certificate in Massage Therapy/Therapeutic Massage from Salter College. Later on, from 2011 to 2013, Nancy pursued further education at The Graduate Institute, earning a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Integrative Health and Healing. Finally, in 2013 to 2014, they attended The Institute of Sustainable Nutrition, obtaining a Certificate in Sustainable Health and Nutrition.
