Alfonso Villalba Almeida

Alfonso Villalba Almeida is a serial entrepreneur and executive who has co-founded and held leadership positions at several startups. Alfonso is currently the co-founder and COO of Kriptos, a software company that uses AI to predict data leakage. Prior to Kriptos, Alfonso was a Kairos Fellow with the Kairos Society, where they focused on problems worth solving. Alfonso also co-founded Yambuu, a corporation that provides security to the communications of people and companies. Alfonso has also held positions at KrugerLabs and Ferret Cayambe Cía Ltda.

Alfonso Villalba Almeida received their Business Administration degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador in 2014. Alfonso also completed the Young Business Program at IDE Business School in 2012, with a focus on Educational Leadership and Administration. In addition, they have completed courses in Business Strategy and Financial Performance from INSEAD, Growth for Founders from Reforge, and Business Process Design for Strategic Management from the MIT Sloan School of Management. Alfonso also has a verified certificate from edX for the course Entrepreneurial Leadership Toolbox from Babson College.
