Monique Melis

Monique Melis is a highly experienced professional in regulatory consulting and compliance, currently serving as the Managing Director and Global Head of Financial Services Compliance and Regulation at Kroll since February 2006, following the rebranding from Duff & Phelps. Additionally, Monique holds non-executive director positions at The Bank of London and Metro Bank (UK), contributing to the risk oversight committee at Metro Bank. Previous roles include Head of Regulation at the Cayman Islands Stock Exchange and Manager of the Transaction Monitoring Unit at the Financial Services Authority in the UK. Monique's educational background includes an MSc in Finance and Economics from Linköping University and a diploma in Regulation and Compliance from The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment, complemented by participation in the ADP Programme at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
