Emanuel Vacchiano

Dr. Vacchiano has over 20 years of biotechnology law experience, especially as a patent attorney. His legal experience includes over a decade of law firm experience at top intellectual property and general practice law firms, and over a decade in-house at Life Technologies Corporation, a leading biotechnology company. Emanuel is founder of Double Helix Law, a boutique intellectual property law firm where he serves mostly private biotech clients. Prior to becoming an attorney Emanuel was a scientist at Abbott Laboratories and did his post-doc training at the National Institutes of Health. He earned his law degree (Magna cum laude) from John Marshall Law School, and a B.S. and PhD from the University of Illinois, Chicago.
