Andrew John Down MSc CEng MIET

Andrew John Down MSc CEng MIET has held a variety of positions in the military and engineering sector. In 2009, they were Second in Command of an Armoured Repair Company and Quarter Master (Technical) at 1 CS Bn REME. In 2007, they were WO1 (ASM) at 12 Regt RA Wksp. From 2012 to 2014, they were Officer Commanding at 7 Air Assault Bn LAD, and in 2014 they were Force Quarter Master (Technical) at Operation HERRICK. From 2015 to 2017, they were Officer Commanding at 5 Regiment Royal Artillery Workshop and Equipment Support Liaison Officer at Defence School of Transport. From 2017 to 2019, they were Quartermaster at 102 FS Bn REME. Currently, they are Technical Project Manager at Kromek Group plc.

Andrew John Down MSc CEng MIET has an extensive educational background. Andrew John obtained a GCE from Hyde Grammar School in 1979-1984, a BTEC from School of Electrical & Mechanical Engineering in 1992-1993, an HND from School of Electronic & Aeronautical Engineering in 1999-2001, a Certificate in Management Studies from Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in 2009-2010, a Level 7 Diploma in Management Studies from Stratford School of Business in 2010, and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Engineering/Industrial Management from the University of Portsmouth in 2013-2014. Andrew John also holds an APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ) from the Association for Project Management, obtained in August 2022.
