James Alcantar

James Alcantar is currently the Controller at Kruze Consulting. Prior to that, they were the Controller - USA at Monette Farms Ltd. from April 2021 to January 2022. James has also worked as the Audit Manager at the Arizona Department of Revenue from May 2020 to April 2021. In that role, they managed a team of 10 tax professionals and led the team to produce more than three times the assessments of the other audit team. James also successfully created a new partnership audit program and standardized the training of new auditors by creating training videos.

James Alcantar has a Master's Degree in Accounting from the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) in Public Finance from the University of Arizona - Eller College of Management, and a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Administration of Justice from Northern Arizona University. James is also certified as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the Arizona State Board of Accountancy and as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (ICGB) from the Arizona Department of Revenue.

They work with Naneva Cordell - SALT Senior Tax Accountant, Marylln Blankenship - Controller, and Ashley Seymour - Accounting Manager. James Alcantar reports to Blake Rutledge, CFO.
