Madeleine Jönsson

Madeleine Jones is an experienced professional in health care and social services, currently serving as an intern in the Health Care Providers Initiatives Unit at the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene since June 2024. Prior experience includes working as a Rehabilitation Specialist at Integral Care in Austin, TX, where Madeleine provided psychosocial rehabilitation training and connected clients with essential resources for their well-being from June 2021 to May 2023. As a Field Intern at Sage Recovery Austin, from January 2021 to May 2021, Madeleine offered case management services to clients in outpatient treatment for mental health and substance use issues. Additional roles include serving as a Mini Mod Team Member at MOD Fitness, ensuring safety and engagement for children ages six weeks to six years, and acting as a Teaching Assistant for K-2nd grade after school art programs at Creative Action. Madeleine holds a Master of Public Health from Columbia University (2023-2025) and dual Bachelor's degrees in Fine/Studio Arts and Social Work from The University of Texas at Austin (2017-2021).
