Waldyr Benits

Waldyr Benits has a wealth of experience in the field of cryptology. Waldyr currently serves as the Head of Cryptology at KRYPTUS EED S.A. since 2021. Prior to this, they were a Consultor do CASNAV a frente do Módulo de Segurança do Radio Definido por Software at CTEx from 2016-2021. From 2014-2016, they were a Pesquisador - Criptografia at Fundação de Desenvolvimento da Pesquisa - FUNDEP. Waldyr began their career in cryptology in 2009 as the Encarregado da Divisão de Criptologia at Marinha do Brasil.

Waldyr Benits completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Cryptology from Royal Holloway, University of London between 2005 and 2008. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Criptografia from USP - Universidade de São Paulo in 2002 and 2003.
