Joel Dehlin

Joel Dehlin has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Joel currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Kuali, Inc. since 2014. Prior to this, they were the Chief Technology & Product Officer at Instructure from 2013 to 2014, where they played a key role in product design, management, engineering, and operations. Joel also led the growth of the design and engineering organizations and implemented new processes for improved developer productivity and innovation. Before their time at Instructure, Joel was an Entrepreneur at ZappEnergy from 2013 to 2014.

In 2012, Joel worked as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO)/EVP at O.C. Tanner and in 2011, they held the same role at iQor. Joel was a Member at The Research Board from 2004 to 2013 and a CIO Strategy Exchange Member at Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers from 2009 to 2011. Joel also served as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at LDS Church from 2004 to 2011, where they managed the IT organization for a complex, multi-national organization.

Joel's early career includes their time at Microsoft starting in 1994, where they worked as a Product Unit Manager until 2005. Joel also has experience as an Author, where they were self-employed for a brief period in 1996.
