Nish Bandara

Nish Bandara began their work experience in 1996 as a Developer at Seylan Bank PLC. Nish then worked as a Software Engineer/IS Executive at Hatton National Bank PLC from 1998 to 2001. In 2001, they joined AsiaSoft Ltd. as a Senior Software Engineer/Technical Lead until 2003. Nish has been with KUBRA since 2003, starting as a Manager and Solution Architect in Client Solutions. Nish has since held various roles at KUBRA, including Director of Client Solutions, Senior Director of Client Solutions, and currently serves as the Vice President of Delivery and Solution Architecture.

Nish Bandara's education history is as follows:

Nish attended Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management / Hearst Management Institute from 2019 to 2021. During this time, they pursued a Mini-EMBA degree in Executive Development.

Prior to that, Nish completed their Master of Science degree in Technology and Engineering Management at the University of Waterloo from 2014 to 2017.

In 1997, Nish obtained a Bachelor's degree (BSc. with Honors) in Management Information Systems from the National University of Ireland, which they pursued from 1997 to 2001.

Nish also holds a Bachelor's degree (BSc.) in Software Engineering from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, which they obtained from 1996 to 2000.

Furthermore, Nish attained an Advanced Diploma in Computer Science from NIBM in 1995, and a Diploma in Computer Science from the same institution in 1993-1994.

In addition to their formal education, Nish has obtained several certifications. These include Agile Project Management Hands On from World Class Productivity Inc. in 2019, Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in 2010, Project Management from Humber College in 2009, Java Programming from Sun Microsystems in 2001, Microsoft .NET Fundamentals from Microsoft in 2001, Oracle - SQL Plus / PL SQL from Oracle in 2001, and Informix / SQL from IBM in 1999.
