Seun Osunkeye, AFM, ACA

Seun Osunkeye has a diverse work experience in the financial field. Their current role is as a Financial Controller at Nomba, where they manage treasury functions and streamlines accounting processes. Seun collaborates with the CEO and CTO on strategic initiatives and provides financial advisory services.

Prior to their current role, Seun worked as a Senior Finance Associate at Nomba, where they built an Interactive Finance Dashboard and contributed to the development and implementation of financial policies.

Earlier in their career, Seun was a Co-Founder at Carnegie Venture Partners. Seun also held the position of Finance Manager at NightsBridge, where they built interactive dashboards, established financial controls, and developed various models.

Seun's experience also includes working as an Account and Finance Officer at HotelOga, where they contributed to the development of financial policies and prepared financial statements. Seun started their career as an Intern at SOA Professional Practice, where they prepared audited accounts in line with IFRS.

Seun also gained experience as a Sales Representative at OOrE Ofe Supermarket, where they sold goods, advertised new products, and provided advice on financial record-keeping.

Seun Osunkeye completed a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Management and Accounting from Obafemi Awolowo University, which spanned from 2012 to 2016. Currently, they are pursuing a degree in Venture Capital at Columbia Business School, with an expected graduation date in 2022.

In addition to their formal education, Seun has obtained various certifications and completed courses in different areas. Seun holds a certification as a Peer Coach from CoffeeChat, which they obtained in October 2022. Seun also completed a Venture Capital course at Columbia Business School Executive Education in March 2022.

Furthermore, Seun holds the designation of Certified Advanced Financial Modeler from the Financial Modeling Institute (FMI), which they obtained in December 2018. Seun completed an online pre-course in Advanced Financial Modeling from OfficeTrainingHub in April 2018.

Seun has also acquired several certifications through LinkedIn. These include Excel: Analyzing and Visualizing Cash Flows, Finance Foundations: Business Valuation, Financial Analysis: Making Business Projections, Learning Data Analytics, Solving Business Problems, and Decision-Making Strategies. These LinkedIn certifications were obtained between 2017 and 2018.

Additionally, Seun obtained the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria (ICAN) certification in May 2017.
